Jumping for Joy at the Finish Line

 On August 17, 2011, my good friend and training partner, Stephanie Haner and I headed for Burlington Vermont to compete in the National Championships for USA Triathlons.   Our goal was to both qualify to compete in the 2012 World Championships in Auckland New Zealand!   Stephanie and I had spent the year doing what most people call “training”, but for us we spent the year “playing with a purpose”.   Whether we were standing on the shores of Pine Lake, getting ready for our sunrise swim, or cycling across the sunny Snoqualmie Valley, Stephanie and I were enjoying every minute of a great friendship while pursuing our drive to be the best we can!   We had our game faces on, but we also couldn’t help but giggle and laugh throughout the entire week.

The trip was as success, both of us qualified for the WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS IN NEW ZEALAND, OCT 2012!!!

Chrysalis Re-positioning Cruise

Another summer comes to an end and also the Chrysalis's summer refuge in the Vancouver BC harbor. I enjoyed a warm repositioning cruise from Vancouver to LaConner with a stop over in Ganges on Saltspring Island with my dad.

Sammy and Mike tied the knot in Clarksville Missouri on August 9, 2008! Best friends become husband and wife!

Family Camping - Jack, Claudia, Nicolas, Regina, Santi, Dad and Gina took the Chrysalis to Sucia for camping, adventure, marine life discovery (purple starfish & crabs) frisbee golf, and more!

4th of July - Lake McDonald

The 4th of July was special this year.......CELEBRATING MIKE AND SAM'S ENGAGEMENT! Home owners of Lake McDonald put on a great show! Explosions of Red, White and Blue throughout the entire day.....Whiffle ball, badmitton, swimmin' and high fly divin'. A great day with friends!

Wenatchee White Water

June 8, 2008, after a tasty braut and frosty beer in Leavenworth, Mike Sam and I braved the Wenatchee white water! Some white water excitement and good friends made for a great day!

San Miguel de Allende, Mexico

Early May 2008 three families came together in the beautiful colonial puebla of San Miguel de Allende to celebrate Bryan and Becky's (gina's cousins) 10 year wedding anniversery. San Miguel is also the little town Jack and Claudia were married in. It was a joyful family vacation. The organization thanks goes to Claudia and Jack Sr.!
